10 Goals to Push Your Business Forward
These ten goals will help you grow your business and move forward by focusing your attention on multiple aspects of your business. Ideally these should be set for a 90 day or three month time frame. Three months may seem short but you need that early deadline to give you an extra push in the right direction. Short-term goals are ideal for making progress, anything longer and it will seem too far away, shorter and it is difficult to make enough progress.
- Appreciate those around you
Your business is more than your brand, it’s the people who work with you and for you every day to make it better and push it forward. You need to recognize these people and give them the credit they deserve. Make the people connected to your brand feel amazing and reward them. Let them know that without them you and the brand wouldn’t be where they are today.
- Invest in something that scares you
Your business won’t grow unless you keep moving forward, which includes trying that new seminar, software, or website you’ve been putting off. Be specific here and answer the question, what do you need to make money? You have to invest in your business if you want it to grow, so now’s the time to make that upgrade.
- Schedule 3 hours of implementation
Every week for the next 90 days you need to schedule three hours where you focus on implementing those things you’ve learned but haven’t tried. If you’re like me you’re constantly learning and have really great ideas but no time to try and put them into the business, now’s the time. Whether you learned it from a podcast, seminar, or video you need to put it into the business and implement or else it’s going to go to waste.
- Do one thing weekly for your significant other
Each week of the next 90 days you should do one thing that makes your significant other feel significant. This can be your spouse, partner, brother, or best friend. Whoever matters most to you is the person you need to be showing some love towards. Once a week make them feel significant and show them how much they mean to you from a date night or dinner to a card or letter. People give there all when they feel significant so take some time to do just that.
- Commit to one thing that really pushes your business
If you could make money with only one activity in your business, what would that be? This is the thing you need to be focusing on here. For me it’s making educational videos. I do so many things from Instagram to Facebook but if I had to choose one thing that makes the business money and pushes us forward it’s videos. What is that one thing for you? Set a goal to spend a specific number of hours on this thing, an example would be one hour per day on video teaching.
