I want to share with you the 3 things you should start doing every day. They’re for you. They’re going to make you feel so much better. Life will feel more in control. You’ll have more productivity, more balance, happiness… you’ll feel that sense of calm; which I think is really important for most of us because a lot of the time life feels out of control. There are so many things, devices, and forms of communication that demand our attention. This makes it so important to establish morning rituals and habits that allow us to feel centered. These are things I’ve learned through not just the study of successful people, but through people who I think have Smart Success. People who seem calm and balanced, they do what they want, when they want and they are living their life completely by design.
3 Daily Rituals for Individuals Wanting to Start their Day Right!
- First 30 minutes of the day, while everyone is asleep and while I’m getting ready, listen to business podcasts.
While multitasking isn’t a good idea, you CAN combine “mindless” and “mindful” activities. For example, listen to a podcast while in the shower or while blowdrying your hair! #duh Take any opportunity you can in the day to improve your life. I’ve told you before the brain can’t multi-task. However, you can do a mind-fullfilling thing in conjunction with a task that doesn’t require any attention.
- Make your bed.
I know this seems simple, but making your bed is a trigger to your brain that your life and your day is super organized. Also, it shows respect for the space in which you rest and will allow you more peace and comfort the following night. Studies have shown that those who make their beds in the morning are more productive through out the day. It definitely sets the tone if you get up and tidy up.
- Meditate or plan your day.
I’m still getting the hang of meditating, but I am already seeing the benefits that it has on my ability to focus and remember things. So, I would suggest that you should meditate, but if you’re not there yet, then you should definitely plan your day and prioritize the three things that have to happen TODAY. Don’t overwhelm yourself with your entire to-do list. Focus on 3 things. The 3 things that the most important today. Prioritize those and set yourself up for success! Hey Chakene! I have been following on multiple sites and learned so much, so Thank You!
I have 2 questions at the moment:
1) Now that I have been pursuing my goals, how the heck do I keep track of all the things on the To Do list that once they get bigger and almost become mini goals to go with the big goal?! I am great at starting but have a hard time completing because of this issue.
2) how do you accomplish and focus on the other 10 goals? It’s probably a similar answer to the first question……….
Thanks again, I can’t express how much you have inspired me to keep going .
